• 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cup mushrooms
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with ½ tsp water)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sriracha


1 In a bowl, add cornstarch to mushrooms and mix them together until they are covered.

2 Add oil to a pan, once hot add mushrooms and fry them for about 5-6 mins and keep it aside.

3 Using the same pan, pour in the oil and add ginger and garlic. Cook them until golden brown

4 Add brown sugar and stir it until it is caramelised. Add in the cooked mushrooms into the sauce and stir them until they are completely covered

5 Serve over basmati rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
