Sticky Mushrooms



1 tsp vegetable oil

2 cup mushrooms

¼ cup cornstarch

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 inch garlic (minced)

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with ½ tsp water)

¼ cup soy sauce

1 tsp Sriracha

    In a bowl, add cornstarch to mushrooms and mix them together until they are covered.

    Add oil to a pan, once hot add mushrooms and fry them for about 5-6 mins and keep it aside.

    Using the same pan, pour in the oil and add ginger and garlic. Cook them until golden brown

    Add brown sugar and stir it until it is caramelised. Add in the cooked mushrooms into the sauce and stir them until they are completely covered

    Serve over basmati rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
